DELHI, India – Delhi will host the inaugural Holiday and Travel Show (HATS) and will witness a participation of major Indian and global players. Various national and international tourism boards, tour operators, and hospitality groups will be a part of the show. The event is an ideal platform for suppliers to interact with for potential clients from India. It is timed to perfection as research has shown that Indian travelers start planning and researching on the destinations they plan to visit during the summer holidays and otherwise.

IQ Events announced Delhi/NCR’s first B2C Travel show – Holiday and Travel Show (HATS) – will be Delhi/NCR’s first ever travel trade show in DLF Cyber Hub, Gurgaon, and will be held from December 12-14, 2014.

The DLF Cyber Hub is the perfect location for such a show as it has guaranteed foot falls and most of them – young, upwardly mobile professionals – are from the audience that travel businesses would like to target.

It is an opportunity for exhibitors from India and from around the world to showcase exciting and diverse range of destinations, airlines, cruises, event planners, hotels, and resorts, etc. Participants from all over the world will educate travelers to explore unforgettable holiday opportunities through this show. The idea behind the show is to connect travelers directly to their dream destination.

The event will be showcasing cultures from across the globe, along with music and dance transporting visitors to a world of uber-class and glam and also promises to be one of the most entertaining, innovative, and interactive event of its kind.

On this announcement Mr. Vikrant Nath, CEO, IQ Events commented: “Having been a part of the travel trade in the 1980s and ‘90s, I felt that the Indian market required a B2C event for the travel and tourism industry wherein the potential travelers or the consumers could directly connect with the tourism boards and products, since the focus of other shows has always been B2B. This practice not only helps the consumers to understand about the product but also bestows them with the correct information about various products exhibited in the show.”
